A week ago I took one of my 5ft paintings and started a re-paint. I grew up with Mt. Shasta, and I’m pretty sure that most who live that gorgeous mountain feel the same connection I have (and still have). I’m painting the arch of the Milky Way galaxy over the peak. The old painting’s texture is popping through, giving it an edge. This is FAR from done. My husband has agreed that I can have part of our garage for a studio, which helps when painting big boys like this. Oh—and my girl is home from her 9 month deployment! I’ll be posting pics I’ve collected from their visit! I’ll be pulling in the sides to tunnel the view.
